Outstanding 1935 E H Scott Allwave 23 in the Westminster Cabinet in good working condition. 4 band- 1 Broadcast (A.M.) 3 short wave. Receiver and amplifier thoroughly gone through and cleaned, many capacitors replaced. There is a tuning meter, whose pointer is visible as a shadow on the dial from behind when the dial lamps illuminate the dial. The five knobs, from left to right, are Volume, Bass, Tuning, Sensitivity, and Selectivity/Hi-Fidelity. Below the tuning knob is the Band Switch lever, and below that is a small push-pull switch to enable the Beat Frequency Oscillator. Original price for this radio was $366 in 1935. WOW. All original. Allwave 23 signifies 23 tubes. This Scott is not missing a single part or piece. All knobs and escutcheons are present. These are rarely sold in this condition and I may kick myself later. There isn't much more I can say as the photos say it all. There is a short video with sound. There are 2 local Scott experts that are generous with their time and knowledge and I thank them for that. This is on the second floor so please bring help to carry.
